I have an NLP session upcoming and I am once again working on self love.  The pre- assignment is to DEfine self love and discuss what a person who has self love would Be Do and Have. Here is what I came up with….

Define love.
I think of love as an energy pattern vibrating at a high frequency. this frequency starts at 1 and goes to infinity with the higher frequencies representing the higher more intense more pure forms of love. Love is contrasted by fear which is a energy pattern described as vibrating in a negative frequency.  love tends to be understood by the forms of actions motivated by it. We say I love thus and so to indicate a resonance or sameness of feeling with that something. an example is like attracting like. for instance two magnets  of equal strength equidistant apart in a frictionless vacuum devoid of gravity will eventually either orbit each other or connect to each other thru attraction , such is love. thus it could be said that love is that which attracts.

in the realm of the physical love can be spoken of as attraction however it tend to be spoken of as an active not a passive emotion. I would describe fear as -1 passivity or neutrality as 0 and love as +1.  With love a persons actions would positive. examples of positive actions include creative acts , i.e. things that are generative and beneficent acts, i.e. something done to benefit another.

Self love should follow this patterns a persons love for self should be both creative and beneficent. This means a person who has self love shall intend to create a beneficial environment to exist in.  As none of us exist in a vacuum this may at time mean shedding things that no longer create a beneficial environment. The highest form of loving expression would be a return to the all , which would take infinite love.

Even after all this time The sun never says to the earth, “You owe me.” Look what happens with a Love like that! —It lights the whole Sky. (Hafiz)

Eros  is passionate love, with sensual desire and longing. The Greek word erota means in love. Plato refined his own definition. Although eros is initially felt for a person, with contemplation it becomes an appreciation of the beauty within that person, or even becomes appreciation of beauty itself. Eros helps the soul recall knowledge of beauty and contributes to an understanding of spiritual truth. Lovers and philosophers are all inspired to seek truth by eros. Some translations list it as “love of the body.”

What might someone be do and have due to self love.

What someone would DO based in self love.
since I have described self love as s creative and beneficial a person would do things that fall into that category.
Things that would be in the “toward” category include:

obtaining sufficient food and water to allow the organism to exist and thrive in this physical plane.
obtaining sufficient sleep for the regeneration of the organism.
obtaining sufficient sexual activity for the health of the organism
obtaining sufficient material good and objects to facilitate the above.  examples would include; a shelter to keep one safe from the elements in the natural environment. Clothing to cover the body. a mode of transportation to allow mobility.
repair and / or replace as required objects and organisms that support and enhance life for the organism.
Things that would be in the away category include;
distancing the organism from things inimical to life which include hostile organisms; harsh environmental conditions,
seek out compliments in the forms of Teachers, Family, Companions
have pride in ones accomplishments
accept limitations as points to grow thru or around
build self esteem
use the above to create a feedback loop to obtain higher and higher levels of self love
